WEESD (Women Empowerment through Education and Skill Development)
This was a one year program that was completed in 2010 which aimed at providing educational and skill training opportunities to women living in Puranchaur. Following the completetion of the project the women learned how to read and write and were trained in candle making. The project was funded by SAGA Charitable Trust.

Child Development through Women Empowerment OCCED/Nepal in association of OCCED Youth club Itahari a training program of three month duration for local women on cutting and sewing clothes is conducted at Itahari with an aim to provide support to the children through their mother and the women members of their family.
